Floor Replating

Floor Replating

Restoring damaged, uneven, or degraded industrial floors to specification, without full demolition and replacement.

Floors deteriorate. Joint failures, surface scaling, cracking under load, abrasion from forklift traffic. These are operational realities in any industrial facility.

Replating restores a damaged floor to its original specification without full demolition and reconstruction.

When Replating Is Required

Joint arris damage from wheeled traffic. Surface scaling from freeze-thaw or chemical attack. Loss of flatness tolerances affecting racking systems. Localised structural cracking under point loads.

Our Approach

We assess the existing floor condition using level surveys and core sampling where necessary. The repair specification is defined based on the failure type, not a one-size approach.

Methods include: thin-section cementitious overlays, epoxy mortar repairs for joint arris restoration, full-depth slab replacement for structural failures, and re-grinding for surface profile correction.

Outcome

A replated floor returned to operational specification at a fraction of the cost and time of full replacement. Minimal downtime. Verified flatness post-repair.
