PVC & TPO Waterproofing
Pre-fabricated membrane systems for roofs, terraces, and exposed decks, mechanically fastened or fully adhered.
PVC and TPO are single-ply synthetic membrane systems. They are hot-air welded at seams, creating a homogeneous, fully bonded joint that is stronger than the parent membrane.
No adhesives at joints. No tape. No reliance on sealants that degrade.
PVC vs TPO
PVC membranes offer superior chemical resistance and long-term flexibility. Specified for exposed roofs, tunnels, and structures where the membrane is the final weathering surface.
TPO membranes are thermoplastic olefin: UV resistant, weldable, and specified where PVC plasticiser migration is a concern (contact with polystyrene insulation, bitumen substrates).
Both are single-ply, lightweight, and mechanically or fully adhered.
Application Methods
Fully adhered: bonded to substrate with contact adhesive, best for wind uplift resistance. Mechanically fastened: secured with plates and fasteners under the membrane, fast installation on steel decks. Ballasted: loose-laid with gravel or paver ballast, used on flat roofs with adequate structural capacity.
Our Capability
Leister and Herz hot-air welding equipment. Trained applicators with manufacturer certification. We execute from single-roof commercial projects to multi-kilometre tunnel lining installations.
